Shaft drive via reduction gearbox to a fixed bladed propeller. Reverse gear. The engine has been well maintained and in 2009 had an engine check, injector pump moved, new injectors and thermostat. A selection of engine spares are included.
Keel Band on hull to protect hull when grounding and to avoid ropes etc from getting caught up around prop and rudder.

Accommodation

Accommodation offers up to 4 berths in 2 cabins. Forward cabin with twin V berth and storage in lockers and shelves. Separate heads compartment to starboard with a marine head new 2009 jabsco toilet, wash basin and shower. Galley opposite consisting of a Plastimo 2500 2-burner cooker with oven and grill (new 2009), stainless steel sink with hot and cold water supply, storage and Waeco fridge (new 2009). Pressurised hot and cold water supply via calorifier. Steps up to the wheelhouse which offers excellent all round visibility from the helm position to port, additional seating and storage aft, navigators forward facing bench seat to starboard and a large dinette seating area which can convert to a second double berth when required also drinks table. Ardic warm air heating system (needs servicing). Blue upholstery. Curtains (new 2009) and carpets.

Service History

Built by Silva Yates (Plastics) Ltd of Jersey in 1991 to a design by Alan Buchanan. Blue GRP semi-displacement hull (professionally resprayed 2006) with white GRP superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Mahogany spray rails along hull and rubber rubbing strake. Aft cockpit. Hydraulic Wheel steering to rudder. Protective keel band. The boat was brought by the present owner with 500 hrs from new on the engine hours, after a 7 month cruise of 2,500 nmls trouble free running, the hours are now 1,016. During winter 2008 / spring 2009 a refit was undertaken to prepare for a long term European cruise which consisted of the French canals and Mediterranean, this included resealing the main wheelhouse windows, new interior lights, taps, mirror, cushions, curtains, fridge, cooker, navigation equipment, seacocks, sea toilet and davits. 2 owners from new.
The cruise went from Ipswich, Calais, canals to the Seine to Paris, through the Lorie Valley the Sone / Rhone, Marcelle, Toulon, St Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo, Sete, Adge, Canal Du Midi, Toulouse, Bordeau, Bay Of Biscay, La Rochelle, St Nazaire canal through Brittiany Rennes, St Malo Guernsey Cherbourg, England
