For our first cruise of the season boats make their way to the RNSYC in Lowestoft for Sunday 10th April. A Carvery dinner is available in the yacht club for those who would like it at 1800hrs. The following morning at 1030hrs the fleet departs
for passage to the River Orwell & Ipswich Haven Marina.
Stay 2 nights in Ipswich departing on Wednesday 13th for passage to Wolverstone Marina, a short run down the River. One night in Wolverstone leaving on the morning of the 14th April at 0800hrs for passage to the Tidemill Yacht Harbour at Woodbridge on the River Deben. Stay for 2 nights in Woodbridge leaving at around midday on Saturday 16th April for passage back to the RNSYC at Lowestoft & farewell dinner.
Sunday 17th April boats return to the Broads.
To join this cruise, your boat will need to be seaworthy, properly equipped for sea & have the range & ability to cruise at a minimum of 18 knots. As always, numbers will have to be limited. If you would like to join in please email cruising@nya.co.uk with your boat name, type & engine model.
