NO STOPPING FOR JUBILEE

If you fancy taking a look at a new boat as a way of whiling away the extra holiday you will be pleased to know that NYA will be open throughout the Jubilee weekend. 9-5 Saturday and 10-4 Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.

HAINES 32 SEDAN ON ORDER

NYA has placed an order for one of the first of the new Haines 32 Sedan.  This boat combines Haines long experience and excellent craftsmanship with the latest technology to produce a stylish 4-berth river and estuary cruiser.  With new levels of comfort and additional safety features, 32 Sedan makes an ideal family boat. Our boat will be ready on September 1st – the day that Haines launch their new range – so you could be among the first owners.

CRUISING IN COMPANY WITH NYA

Our next cruise – on July 4 – is now fully subscribed. 16 boats of all shapes and sizes will be setting off from Lowestoft and cruising via Brightlingsea and Ipswich.  If weather permits we will go up the River Crouch to Burnham.

If you would like to take part in an NYA Cruise, take a look at our Cruising Club web pages .  You can see reports of previous cruises and register an interest so we can let you know about the next ones.

NEW HORNING OFFICE TAKES SHAPE

Our new Horning office is being built.  We will be closer to the waterfront to make it easier to show prospective customers around our boats and arrange test drives. As you can see from the picture we have a roof – essential for a Broads Summer. We expect to be in occupation and ready for visitors in August.

EXCITING NEW STOCK

Because we are always in the market for good used boats, we always have some gems to interest the connoisseur.  The Sea Ranger 48/50 is a serious blue water cruiser.  With a massive spec, loads of accessories and in immaculate condition, this is one to see before others get there.  It’s at our Brundall yard – for the moment. IRISH JOY

Perhaps there are signs that the Irish are coming out of their economic gloom and are ready to enjoy their beautiful waterways more.  Four boats are on their way to Ireland as a result of a sales splash early in May.

RED LIGHT STUCK

The Harbourmaster at Lowestoft has advised that the traffic signals at the exit from the Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club are stuck on red.   All vessels wishing to exit this yacht basin must first obtain permission to proceed from Lowestoft Port Control, VHF Ch 14, Tel. 01502 572286.
