MARKET PICKS UP FOR SUMMER

Easter has proved the start of a busy sales season for NYA, even if summer has yet to arrive.  We have welcomed new customers and helped others to sell their boats or trade up to something better.  Our part exchange offer certainly helps to keep the market moving. Indeed, we have a good few potential customers looking for the right boat for them and could do with some more good used boats to sell.

BABY FRASER 3

The whole NYA team would like to congratulate James and Rebecca on the birth of a baby boy on May 2nd.  We are delighted to report that Mother, Baby and Father are doing well

EASTER CRUISE SUCCESS

The first outing of the new NYA Cruising Club saw nine boats led by James and Rebecca in Arabella cruising to Southwold for our Easter event.  We made outward and return stops at the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club and enjoyed informal parties on each others’ boats.

These cruises are great social occasions and an excellent and safe way to gain more confidence in coastal waters.

Our next cruise will start on Wednesday July 4 from Lowestoft and return the following Sunday.  Please get in touch for more details.

BROADLAND BRIDGES – THE SAGA CONTINUES

Under the headline announcing that Oulton Broad Swing Bridge is fully operational, the Broads authority announces that it will not be swinging between 23.45 4 May - 05:30 7 May 2012
and 23:45 11 May - 05:30 19 May 2012.  You might be confused by the term ‘fully operational’ or bemused by the continued series of work patterns on the region’s bridges.  It is always worth checking the latest situation at the Authority’s Notices to Mariners
