NYA SEEKS AN APPRENTICE BROKER

The news that Chris Gregory is leaving us means that we have a position open for a trainee Broker.
The ideal applicant will have a knowledge and love of boats in addition to a driving licence.  A positive attitude and ability to work on their own initiative is essential.  Applications should be made in writing to louise@nya.co.uk

MOVING ON - CHRIS GREGORY

One of our Junior Brokers is leaving us to take up a position with a well established Super Yacht Broker.  Chris joined us in 2012 originally as a 'Saturday boy' whilst he completed his exams.  We were so impressed with him that we offered him a full time position when he finished sixth form.  His new job requires him to move south to the bright lights of London and from there the world.......
We wish him well and hope his newly acquired knowledge of Broads Cruisers stands him in good stead.

HAINES UNVEIL NEW HULL COLOUR

In September Haines unveiled their newest cruiser, the 32 Offshore. This boat has been received superbly and surpassed everyone’s expectations, which were high to start with!

Never ones to rest on their laurels, Haines have continued to keep to the forefront of contemporary design. This week they unveiled their latest boat in production which features a distinct difference to the others built so far.

This latest boat marks the start of a new hull colour that Haines will be adding to their long list of options for these bespoke built cruisers.

With its striking stone grey hull this boat is sure to look sleek and accentuate the already smooth lines. There are many other hull colour options available for these sought after cruisers but we must admit, this one is certainly an eye pleaser. We cannot wait to see the finished product!

BRUNDALL MOTOR YACHT CLUB CELEBRATES ANOTHER SUPERB YEAR OF CRUISING

With the end of the 2014 cruising season upon us it was time to celebrate what a fantastic year it has been.  Members of the BMYC gathered at the Victoria Hotel to indulge in a delicious 3 course meal and of course the customary drink or two.

Awards were handed out for the year’s notable boaters and after the speeches concluded we made our way to the floor to dance the remainder of the night away to the musical styling’s of The Offenders

.

As usual the night was concluded by our MD James Fraser treating us to a rendition of his favourite song ‘Angels’ which is always well received.
Once again a most enjoyable night was had and the crew from NYA were pleased to be involved in another truly exceptional year of cruising with great company.

IMPROVEMENTS AT FRESHWATER

Our planned improvements are well underway down at the Freshwater site.  Our Service Centre staff are moving boats daily to allow the dredger access to get to work.  Progress is being made despite having to start later than planned due to last weeks flooding.

The landscaping has also started - Sam was on the digger for much of the day and also levelling off sleepers - We can't wait to see what it looks like when it is all finished.
